Text Box: The Practice Team Practice Manager Mr Micael Enkvist, He improves the running of the practice by dealing with staff and patient problems. He can be contacted at the Surgery.   Practice Nurses Practice Nurses Joanna Myall and Amanda Hendry consult by appointment. They manage the routine monitoring of patients with chronic diseases. They also gives advice, gives injections, does smear tests and checks blood pressure. ANP Advanced Nurse Practitioner Advanced Nurse Practitioner Lucy Clancy consult by appointment. She can assess, diagnose, manage, refer and prescribe as well as issue Fit Notes.   Health Care Assistant(s) Mrs Julie McMullen / Mr Micael Enkvist consult by appointment, they give pre-arranged injections and checks blood pressure. The HCAs will also see patients with Chronic Deceases for their annual reviews in preparation for the Practice Nurse, who will assess and collate all the information and action if Appropriate.  Receptionists Mrs Susan Harkin Receptionist Mrs Julie McMullen Receptionist Mrs Joanne Gallagher Receptionist Mrs Linsay Graham Receptionist Mrs Ashley O’Donnell They deal with all your requests for appointments, visits, and prescriptions. They will also pass on messages to the doctor.   Secretary Mrs Agnes Chalmers types all letters, medical reports and referral for the GPs   District Nurses District Nurses from the local health clinic are attached to the practice and are available to perform home nursing care if required. They can be contacted on 0141 355 2180.   Health Visitor(s) HV Susanne Herrighty Specialist Community Public Health Nurse and HV Holly Gray who gives advice on health matters, monitors development of children. They can be contacted on 0141 211 6139.   Health Visiting Staff Nurses Based at Plean Street Clinic   Community Midwifes Are based at the West Maternity Care Centre, they  offer Antenatal Care at the Centre and sees you at home after your baby is born.
